Book Description: Burnout in Pastoral Ministry is real, but it can be prevented. In this new edition of Reframing Your Ministry, Dr. Anthony J. Headley shows how as he offers a sustainable and life-giving model of ministry rooted in the Trinity.

The updating of Anthony Headley's classic, Reframing Your Ministry, is a gift to those of us who prepare pastors for service in churches, chaplaincy, and parachurch ministries. The positive impact of the original version across almost two decades of teaching domestically and internationally has been profound.  The practical vision it cast for ministering through "being" in this age of excessive "doing" has been life-changing for students and ministry professionals. They caught a counter-cultural "frame of reference" for their pastoral calling that was inspiring and realistic.  Now this new version continues to follow where ministry art and pastoral research leads. It loses none of the experiential power of the original, while effectively speaking to a new generation of pastors. Dr. Headley provides an embodied theology that centers the work of Christ in the pastor through a healthy relationship with the Father through the Spirit. Everything flows practically from this centeredness, creating an "inside-out order" that John Wesley would heartily esteem.  I can't wait to put this updated version in the hands of my students.
