1 Corinthians Color-Coded: A Beginning-Intermediate Greek Reader is the first of its kind: Jonathan B. Ensor has merged lexical, morphological, and translational notes with an innovative color-coding of the Greek text for a multidimensional Greek reading experience. The color-coding identifies the most salient parts of speech (conjunctions, special verbs, adverbs, pronouns, and prepositions) and constructions (non-indicative mood verbs, quantitative and qualitative specifications, and comparative/superlative adjectives) in order to facilitate reading comprehension and incisive observation for interpretation. Moreover, the Greek text is double-spaced to allow for markup and note-taking. Also included is an “Introduction to Color-Coded Greek Readers and Constituent Marking” by Fredrick J. Long who explains the rationale and benefits of color-coding and Constituent Marking for readers and exegetes. The Appendices include New Testament Vocabulary occurring 50 times or more sorted by frequency and arranged alphabetically along with Koinē Greek Paradigm Charts.
